Canola Swaths

Canola Swaths

This late summer scene is familiar to most Saskatchewan people. Many might take this scene for granted and pass it by without much thought but many reasons draw me to scenes like this. The photographer in me likes the patterns and contrasts formed by the swaths as they meander through the field. The Prairie boy in me understands the importantance each of these swaths represents to the family whose livelihood depends upon them.
