Delicate Ice
I travelled to Prince Albert National Park in early spring to hike a few trails. One of my favourite trails is the Waskesiu River trail. A portion of the river contains some rapids where the water tumbles over rocks. This creates delicate ice shelves where ice is suspended above the rushing water.
It took a lot of searching to find this scene. I used a long exposure to blur the water and focus attention on the delicate ice features.
